Steve did this presentation as a Tech Tip for SAR – Sacramento Association of REALTORs with the awesome Daniel Allen of S.A.R. ~ (note: this is a repost from the YouTube channel for Sacramento Association of REALTORs).
We do use an iPad in our listing presentation, but the most important item is to know your listing presentation well … the iPad will be a nice accessory and is an amazing tool, but ultimately you are the one selling yourself and your services. The iPad is a tool, not the WAY to get a listing, but you have to admit it has many benefits – no paper, display of (possible) online capabilities, you’re (possibly) mobile, and you care about different ways to possibly market the property.
For us the iPad has become an important fixture in our marketing and listing exposure. It’s also a growing tool in our buyer-side items for when we are on the go … and also doing our AVIDs at properties, on site. In fact, we were asked to do a video for the California Association of REALTORs earlier this year, on how we use digital signatures ( Steve and Heather Ostrom ZipForms – TouchSign – check it out ) • View the Official C.A.R. Website for more information on TouchSign and ZipForms
From Heather Ostrom – the marketing bossy pants – don’t make it boring. If it puts you to sleep, it guaranteed with put your seller to sleep. Throughout our presentation, we ask questions of the seller. Lose the corny graphics and keep it clean and to the point. This has been a visual public service announcement.
Graphic Designer Commentary: Too many fonts make it look cluttered – clean and simple is best (and beware of neon).
